Real skills, practiced weekly,
in a room full of people rooting for you

Confident public speaking

Give prepared speeches, get structured feedback, and build confidence one meeting at a time. You'll start small - and grow at your own pace.

Leadership experience

Take on meeting roles - from timekeeper to Toastmaster of the Day - that build real-world leadership skills without the corporate pressure.

Think on your feet

Table Topics - impromptu speaking exercises - train you to organize your thoughts and speak clearly under pressure. This is the skill people say changes their work life the most.

A genuinely supportive community

Nobody's judging you. Everyone in the room has been the nervous new person. You'll make friends, find mentors, and actually look forward to meeting nights.

Absurdly affordable

$10 a month (plus club fees) - less than a single session with a speaking coach. And visiting is completely free, as many times as you want.

Common Questions

Do I have to speak at my first meeting?
No. Guests are welcome to just observe. You might be invited to answer a Table Topics question (1-2 minutes of impromptu speaking), but you can always say "pass." There's zero pressure.
What does it cost to join?
Toastmasters International charges $60 per 6 months. New members have a one time fee of $25. The club you visit and join may have additional fees. Visiting is always free.
How long are meetings?
Most meetings run 60-90 minutes (and maybe some a little longer), including prepared speeches, Table Topics, and evaluations.
I'm terrified of public speaking. Is this for me?
Especially for you. Most members joined for exactly this reason. Toastmasters is designed to be a safe, supportive space where you can start small and build confidence gradually. You won't be thrown into the deep end.
What's the time commitment?
Show up when you can. Most members attend 2-4 meetings per month and give a speech every few weeks. There's no attendance requirement and no homework.
Is this a religious or political group?
No. Toastmasters International is a secular, nonpartisan, nonprofit educational organization. Clubs do not promote any religious, political, or commercial agenda.
